Final Degree Work - The Model's Gaze

The Model's Gaze is a series of captivating fashion portraits of models. The work explores the psychological ideas of why we find faces so interesting, as well as looking at the paradox of portraiture, and how we are always left wanting to know more beyond the portrait.

What is it about the eyes in particular that draw us in?

I invite the viewer to look closely at the people in the images, encouraging them to connect with the model's gaze, as we look at them, they look back at us. Leaving it open to the viewer to determine how they interpret these fascinating faces.
